In-Person Sound Bath Training Courses

We offer both beginner and intermediate sound bath training courses tailored to your skill level, intention, and learning style.  All trainings are taught privately to dedicate the entire training towards instilling the confidence and knowledge needed to be successful in sound healing.

LEVEL 1 SOUND BATH TRAINING COURSE

Having former experience in music, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in the study and performance of diverse classical and contemporary compositions with various instruments. This journey allowed me to gain a profound understanding of music's fundamental concepts and theories.

In my role as a facilitator, I've had the honor of guiding countless individuals through the transformative experience of sound baths. These sessions have facilitated greater clarity, a profound connection with their inner selves, and the creation of a nurturing space for emotional release, stress alleviation, and mental liberation.

With over a decade of expertise in both the realms of music and healing arts, my foremost dedication is to enhance our community by ensuring the holistic well-being of its members. In alignment with this mission, we present our Private Level 1 Sound Bath Training Course—a comprehensive seven-hour intensive program hosted at our residence in Laguna Woods. This course is designed to educate and empower individuals with the profound benefits of sound baths and meditation.

Our beginner's course is meticulously crafted for those who possess little or no prior experience with sound baths. It is tailored for individuals curious about how sound baths influence the body, mind, and heart or those seeking to cultivate a personal mindfulness and meditation practice in the comfort of their own homes.

 

What does this course entail?

 

  1. A dedicated seven-hour private instruction session, personally guided and critiqued by myself, Kyle Lam.

  2. A pre-training consultation call with me to discuss your intentions, prior experience, and expectations.

  3. Mastery of proper techniques and methods for playing over seven distinct planetary gongs, a beginner set of seven crystal singing bowls, and their accompanying accessories.

  4. Building confidence and familiarity with each instrument, ensuring your knowledge evolves with dedicated practice.

  5. Exploration of various styles in gong and crystal bowl playing.

  6. Understanding how different sounds, tones, and harmonies can induce various emotional, physiological, and neurological states.

  7. Insight into the internal messages conveyed by our hearts through these states.

  8. Guidance on crafting a sequence of harmonies and melodies.

  9. Access to exclusive discounted prices for sound healing instruments.

Why should I learn from you?

Is it necessary to have musical experience to take this training?

 

Absolutely not. I will personally convey the necessary musical theory during your training.

 

Do I need my own set of instruments for the training?

 

No, we provide all the instruments you'll need for the training. However, if you have your own instruments and wish to practice with them, feel free to bring them along. Our experience enables us to work with a wide range of planetary gongs and crystal singing bowls.

 

Where and what time frame will the training be held?

 

The training will be held at our private residence in Laguna Woods, located in South Orange County, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 

Are there specific dates we can take the training on?

 

Generally, we offer the most flexibility on weekdays and can make arrangements for weekends with advance notice.

 

How much is the training?

 

The total tuition for our Level 1 Sound Bath Training is $1000.

 

What if I have a spouse, partner, or friend that wants to take the training with me?

 

Certainly! Learning together can be a rewarding bonding experience. We offer a special rate of $850 per person if you both choose to take it together.

 

Why is the certificate optional?

 

While some may claim that certification is mandatory for sound healing practice, we believe in transparency. To enroll in this course is a commitment to self-improvement and spiritual growth. However, we understand that, for some, a certificate of completion is a testament to their dedication. Certain individuals or establishments may require certification to host public sound events, and our Level 2 Sound Healer Training Course prepares you for this, culminating in a Sound Healer Certificate upon completion.

 

Do I need to complete Level 1 in order to take Level 2?

 

If you have little to no experience with sound baths, Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2. If you have already completed an introductory in-person sound bath course, please contact us directly to discuss whether it fulfills the prerequisite requirement for Level 2.

We proudly present our LEVEL 2 SOUND HEALER TRAINING COURSE, a comprehensive seven-hour immersion designed to deepen your understanding of delivering exceptional sound bath experiences, both in public and private settings. During this intensive one-day program, you will receive personalized instruction from Kyle himself, assisting you in discovering your unique sound while creating a sound bath sequence that is both melodically harmonious and capable of guiding participants into profound meditative states, invoking deep emotional healing.

With over a decade of experience in both music and crafting sound bath and meditation events across Southern California in three different counties, I am committed to nurturing the next generation of sound practitioners. These practitioners will, in turn, enhance the well-being of our commUNITY.

Our intermediate course is tailored for those who have successfully completed our Level 1 Sound Bath Training Course and are now ready to apply their knowledge by producing sound bath experiences for both individuals and groups of all sizes in public and private settings.

 

What does this course entail?

 

  1. Seven hours of private instruction and guidance directly from Kyle.

  2. A pre-training consultation call with Kyle to align on your intentions, prior experience, and expectations.

  3. Access to Kyle's entire collection of sound bath instruments, exclusively available to Level 2 students. This collection includes:

    1. 10 Paiste Planetary Gongs.

    2. 21 Perfect Pitch 432hz Crystal Singing Bowls ranging from 8” to 24” in size, including an Intermediate Set exclusive to Level 2 Training.

    3. Rainsticks.

    4. Ocean Drums.

    5. Koshi Chimes & Elemental Wind Chimes.

    6. Shakers.

  4. Hands-on experience with multiple planetary gongs and various-sized 432hz crystal singing bowls, along with other instruments.

  5. Learning how to combine various notes, octaves, and tones to create unique melodies that align with your style.

  6. Discovering how to connect with your clients or groups through each instrument, facilitating a healing session tailored to their needs.

  7. Introduction to the distinctions between facilitating for private individuals, private groups, and public audiences.

Who should take this course?

​

Anyone who has either successfully completed either our Level 1 Sound Bath Training course or another Level 1 training course and wishes to elevate their training, or individuals with basic training in sound bath production. Our Level 2 Sound Healer Training is ideal for instructors, coaches, teachers, practitioners, or anyone aspiring to incorporate sound baths into their offerings.

 

May I take your Level 2 course if I already have some experience with sound baths, but have not taken your Level 1 Sound Bath Training course?

 

Yes, it's possible. To ensure you possess the necessary knowledge and skills from your previous experience, please reach out to us directly at info@kylelamsoundhealing.com to arrange a call with Kyle to discuss further.

 

Do we need our own set of instruments?

 

While it's beneficial to have at least a basic set of crystal singing bowls for the best experience, it's not mandatory. We provide an intermediate crystal singing bowl set exclusively used in our Level 2 Sound Healer Training. All other necessary instruments will be provided for you. If you wish to bring any of your own instruments to the training, you are welcome to do so.

 

Where and what time frame will the training be held?

 

The training will be conducted at our private residence in Laguna Woods, located in South Orange County, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The total tuition for our 1:1 Intermediate Sound Healer Training is $1200.

 

What if I want to take Level 1 and Level 2 together?

 

Certainly! We offer a package rate of $1950 if you book both courses together. We recommend spacing out the two training dates to allow adequate time for practicing the techniques and methods taught in Level 1, ensuring your comfort before diving into Level 2.

 

What if I have a spouse, partner, or friend that wants to take the training with me?

 

Our Level 2 training is designed for one-on-one instruction to ensure the quality of training.  However, if you are a duo planning on facilitating together, we have a special date of $1000 per person for our Level 2 training.

 

Is there any type of mentorship that includes post training?

 

Participants in the Level 2 Sound Healer Training Course will also receive a complimentary 1-hour follow-up session to review their crafted sound sequence, receive advice, and share critique for further refinement.

 

Stay tuned for our upcoming Level 3 Advanced Sound Practitioner Mentorship program, which will offer 3 or 6-month programs. This mentorship will focus on the business aspects of sound bath productions and fine-tuning the quality of the experiences you provide for your clients and community.
